About Us
At the age of 12, the Ecuadorian Alirio Vasquez, who already worked informally with wood, began his professional career as a carpenter. It was 6 years dedicated to the craft of producing stairs, doors, windows and made-to-measure furniture always working with solid wood.
In the year 2000, he moved from Ecuador to Spain, where he worked as a cabinet maker for the commercial and residential sectors, working with the restoration of historic buildings, bespoke furniture and all types of woodwork.
In 2005, Alirio Vasquez sees an opportunity to found his own company and Art World Carpentry is born. Working in Spain for 6 years until in 2011, he moves to Brazil, transferring Art World to a new country.
In 2015, after 2 years operating in Brazil, Alirio Vasquez moved again, this time to London, England, where he expands the Art World Carpentry branch of activities to include building maintenance, renovations and constructions, finally creating Art World Maintenance.

Alirio and his team have carried out a number of projects for us, and then on our recommendation, further work for both of our neighbours. Whether it’s general building work, groundwork, internal and external tiling, plumbing or electrics, everything was absolutely perfect.
